“Zoom” is a futuristic, exciting Hip hop track by Te' the Kid, an artist from Winston-Salem, NC. The song, which is off of In My Own World 3 has a catchy, fun chorus and fluent, hyper lyrics, all sung and rapped in a dynamic way. The production by Ian Eastern is vivid and immersive, with an electric melody and hard-hitting drums. The visual brings the viewer into a fun world of high-speed and high energy, with scenes based on the contents of the song. This one was a lot of fun to create, and I tried a lot of new things. I used a green screen for the first time on a visualizer and I used an armature for the figure, these were both very helpful and new, and I believe that they made the visualizer come out better. There were challenges with this one such as FINDING INSTRUMENTS, I looked in so many stores to find miniature instruments and I could not so I just made them out of tinfoil, clay, and sharpie. Also, I did this one in a new environment, my apartment, which has very limited space. I had to set up the green screen by hanging it from my closet door as well as from the blinds in the living room. And I had to set up some of my scenes on the dining table, which is in the living room right at the front door. So literally right whenever anyone went in or out, me and all of my gear were right there lol, it was kind of funny. Shout out to my roommates for being so chill about it. This one was very fun, and I am happy with how it turned out.
