Ken Carson releases long-awaited deluxe version to ground-breaking album “A Great Chaos”
I thought “A Great Chaos” was an awesome album. It’s a culmination of the dark Opium-style rap that has been developing since the release of Playboi Carti’s “Whole Lotta Red”. The album showcases all elements of Ken’s style, to his bass-heavy bangers to his more lyrical tracks.
“A Great Chaos(Deluxe)” adds a whopping 7 more tracks to the album in a variety of these differing styles. “loading”, “more chaos”, “toxic”, “leather jacket”, and “mewtwo” are mostly catchy melodic tracks with some nice lyricism and go into many subjects such as the artist’s work ethic and personal life. Finally, “ss” and “overseas” are flow-driven hard-hitters that finish off the album. Overall, I loved that Ken added some tracks that added a lot to his breakthrough album, and I hope to hear more from the X-Man soon.
