Lon Lucci - The Word

“The Word” is an emotional, melodramatic Trap song by Pittsburgh native Lon Lucci. The track tells the story of a relationship that he has with this girl (not the Bratz doll, a real girl). With a catchy chorus and pain-loaded lines, it has a lot to unpack. All of this is done over a bittersweet beat, with drums full of heat, and a melody to complete. The visualizer takes you through a strange world in which he encounters the aforementioned Bratz doll and is taken away by her. Make sure to go and check out his music. This one was a really fun and new experience to make. I made almost all of the assets in this video by hand, which was a lot of work, but very rewarding; I feel as though I was able to create a unique world. I put all of the individual assets into After Effects and then arranged and animated them. It was a challenging and engaging process, and I am glad that I pulled through and finished it.
